MAIN THREAD: Classic Movies and General Discussion

So I figured I'd go into the subject of classic movies.

There are timeless, classic movies that are still considered great, influential films which are still watched to this day.

Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th St., the Maltese Falcon, Wizard of Oz, Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, and many more.

Even cult classics such as A Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Dr. Strangelove fit the bill - although they're more recent examples than the others - since they're still considered important moments in cinematic history.

Personally, I'm 50/50 on classic movies.  I liked Casablanca, Miracle on 34th Street, a few of the classic monster movies, and Wizard of Oz (obviously).  Quite a few I haven't checked out yet, like the Maltese Falcon.

But I also don't care for certain ones. Such as Gone With the Wind, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, Clockwork Orange, Rocky Horror, and Dr. Strangelove.

Regardless, movies like this - and others - are considered timeless classics and significant to cinematic history.  So what are the classic movies you like?  Which ones don't you like?

Discuss this, and anything else, in this here thread.
